Give visitors a reason to stop
A stand should communicate its main proposition without a long explanation. Consider the approach from the aisle and what can be understood before someone enters. Use one strong idea to create an invitation.
Make the layout work
Plan where conversations, demonstrations and displays will happen. Keep the entrance readable and the circulation practical. The needs of the team are part of the design too: storage, materials and equipment should support the visitor experience rather than compete with it.
Balance impact with buildability
Bring fabrication, lighting and AV requirements into the design discussion early. Check the venue guidance and the agreed scope before finalising the environment. Visual ambition works best when it is supported by a clear build and installation plan.
Prepare the people
The stand team should understand the main message, demonstration flow and agreed enquiry process. Decide what information is useful to collect and how the visitor can continue the conversation. A well-designed space and a prepared team should feel like one experience.
